DAC — Leading UK manufacturer of lift control software and systems
LiftEx25, ExCel Exhibition Centre, London
DAC appointed Activate Business Development (Activate BD) to plan and execute their data capture and video presentation at LiftEx25 — the lift industry’s premier exhibition. DAC’s key goal was clear:
Maximise data capture and follow up on the stand and encourage more lift industry executives to book a visit to their state-of-the-art factory in Daventry.
Why was this so critical? DAC’s insight showed that 80% of prospects who visit the factory become clients, compared to 30% who convert when met 'offsite'
This clearly demonstrates the power of conducting factory tours as a proven conversion tool for building trust and closing deals.
Activate BD designed a targeted stand strategy to attract, engage, and convert visitors:
✅ Showcase the Factory — A high-quality video of the Daventry factory played prominently on the stand, visually demonstrating DAC’s scale, capability, and commitment to quality.
✅ Dual Lead Boxes — Two user-friendly Lead Boxes were positioned at key points on the stand, encouraging visitors to:
✅ Seamless CRM Integration — Every sign-up was automatically added to DAC’s CRM. Visitors immediately received a thank-you email and a personalised link to book a factory tour, keeping the momentum high post-event.
The campaign exceeded all expectations:
“Activate Business Development took our expo strategy to the next level. Their advice on showcasing the factory, capturing leads, and following up quickly turned LiftEx25 into our most successful event ever. We have over £1 million in quotes already and are confident this will deliver a huge return in the coming year. Highly recommended!”
